Delivery Information
Candles of Provence offers handmade and personalised creations. Each candle, pouch or gift is carefully made to order. Delivery times therefore include two separate stages: artisan production and postal delivery.
⏳ Production Time
Delivery times do not include the time required to make your candles. As every product is handmade and bespoke, production times vary depending on the season and the number of current orders.
Orders are processed according to the event date provided (for example wedding, christening or birthday). For urgent (express) orders, please contact us to check availability. An additional charge may apply depending on the requested timeframe.

✈️ Dispatch
Orders are dispatched from France via Colissimo (La Poste) or Mondial Relay, depending on the delivery method selected at checkout. A tracking number is sent by email as soon as your order has been shipped.

🚚 Shipping Methods
Parcels are sent via tracked Colissimo or Mondial Relay. A tracking email is sent once your order has been dispatched.
- Colissimo: Home delivery in France and internationally depending on destination
- Mondial Relay: Delivery to a selected pickup point or locker in eligible countries
- France: Delivery usually within 2 to 5 working days with Colissimo, or 3 to 6 working days with Mondial Relay
- Europe: Delivery times vary by destination and selected carrier
Products marked “made to order” may require a total lead time of 9 to 21 days before dispatch, depending on the season.
Parcels are handled by La Poste, Mondial Relay or another approved carrier from France. Candles of Provence cannot be held responsible for delays caused by strikes, postal incidents, relay point disruptions or other circumstances beyond our control.
⚖️ Customs Duties – Taxes – Import Charges
Any order shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, customs clearance fees or administrative charges required by the authorities of the destination country.
This may apply, without limitation, to shipments to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Andorra, the United States, Canada, Australia and all countries outside the European Union.
These charges remain entirely the responsibility of the recipient. The seller has no control over these amounts, which vary according to local regulations and the nature of the goods ordered. Therefore, no claim relating to customs duties or import taxes can be accepted.
If a parcel is refused by the recipient because of these charges, return costs and any additional fees charged by the carrier will remain entirely payable by the customer.
United Kingdom: Orders valued under £135 are generally not subject to UK customs duties at import. However, VAT or carrier handling charges may still apply depending on the order and current UK regulations.
Switzerland: Orders shipped to Switzerland may be subject to Swiss VAT, customs duties or carrier handling fees depending on the order value and current local regulations. These charges are payable by the recipient.
🔍 Order Tracking
A tracking link is automatically sent by email once your order has been dispatched. You can check the progress of your parcel at any time on the La Poste website or via the tracking link provided for Mondial Relay shipments. Important: Please remember to add artisan production time to the delivery time. As each creation is unique and personalised, a little extra time may be required before dispatch.
