Ethics

All our candles are made exclusively from 100% vegetable wax, using non-GMO soy wax with no pesticides, colourants or additives. The soy wax we use is environmentally friendly, renewable, biodegradable and never tested on animals. It also offers a burn time approximately 37% longer than polluting and harmful paraffin candles.

Our candle wicks are made from cotton, free from lead and zinc, and pre-waxed for a clean, non-toxic burn.

GRASSE FRAGRANCE COLLECTION: The scents used in our scented candles are made in France, in Provence, by perfumers from Grasse, the world capital of perfume. These fragrances are specially developed for candles and comply with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards. We carefully select fragrances that are free from CMR substances*, phthalates, synthetic perfumes and additives.

LAVANDIN ESSENTIAL OIL COLLECTION: We also offer Lavandin candles made with essential oils, sourced from a producer on the Valensole Plateau in Provence.

All our scented candles are created with respect for nature and animals. None of our ingredients, nor our finished products, have been tested on animals. We do not use palm wax, which contributes to deforestation such as in Indonesian and Amazonian forests, nor paraffin, a petroleum-derived product that is highly polluting.

We can provide a certificate of authenticity confirming that our scented candles are handmade by us in Provence, in the south of France, using authentic fragrances from Grasse and essential oil from Provence for our Lavandin range.

*CMR: A term used for substances classified as Carcinogenic, Mutagenic (causing permanent changes to the number and/or structure of genetic material), or Toxic for Reproduction (including causing malformations of reproductive organs or affecting fertility). We do not use them. Our fragrances are carefully selected and of premium quality.
